Zack Greinke going from almost quitting baseball because of his anxiety to pitching in possibly the most anxiety-inducing game in the sport is a feat that should be celebrated.

Zack Greinke won five consecutive Gold Gloves at one point. He might be the best fielding pitcher in the sport. And through 3 2/3 innings, he has four assists already.

Here is Zack Greinke’s first MLB strikeout from his debut at Oakland on May 22, 2004. Eric Byrnes is the batter. Benito Santiago is the catcher.

AJ Hinch should be fired for removing him from the game.

Entire Shitstain Astros organization owes Zack Greinke hand-written apology letters for blowing that gem.

Congrats to the Nationals (whom I also wanted to won).

Zack Greinke with five assists, matching Carmelo Anthony’s career high.

Friendly reminder: When Zack Greinke was told he was getting promoted to the big-leagues for the first time, he asked his coaching staff if he could go back to Single-A and become a shortstop. And no one knows if he was kidding to this day.

Zack Greinke tonight: 6.0 IP, 0 ER, 1 hit. Here’s the complete list of starters in a World Series Game 7 with that many innings, no runs and that few hits: Zack Greinke.

Imagine spending the past month ripping Zack Greinke for underachieving, disappointing and not making enough of an impact for the Astros.

With a runner on first and one out, the Astros have one guy perfectly positioned to deal an inning ending double play, Zach Greinke.

Greinke please return to the NL
