This film is literally the equal-but-opposite of Bergman's Vargtimmen (1968) plus a bit of Lars Von Trier's Melancholia (2011). Also inspired by Chantal Akerman's Jeanne Dielman, 23, Quai Du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (1975) but the film is clearly an exact foil of the Bergman masterpiece. The Wolf Hour's main character June (Naomi Watts) is the equal-but-opposite of both Jeanne Dielman and Johan Borg.
