Raptors may win the NBA Finals and there is no other team I would want Golden State to pass that title to than the Toronto Raptors. They've certainly earned it. Toronto’s defense on Golden State has been phenomenal. They successfully neutralized Steph Curry and Draymond Green for three of the four games so far. Golden State players are also clearly too battered and exhausted to maintain their normal championship level of play.
If any team can overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals, it is the Golden State Warriors, but they lack a healed Klay (he still has the hamstring injury), a healed Kevon (he's playing with collar bone injury and can barely move around) and a healed Kevin Durant (career-threatening calf issue).
The Raptors have a mostly healthy, deeply skilled, deeply talented, wildly fresh, and wonderfully exuberant Toronto Raptors team that won 4 games in a row (after losing the first 2, but the significance of going on to win 4 in a row after that is what matters) against the #1 seed Milwaukee Bucks to sweep into the NBA Finals. They have a deep bench with consistent success that gives their starters a break. The Raptors have done everything right and have done so with pure class and great sportsmanship and top-tier level of play and never-ending energy.
Once again, if any team can come back from 3-1, it is the Golden State Warriors, but a healthy Golden State Warriors. I would love nothing more than Golden State to make their own history by winning 3 NBA Finals Games in a row to win a third NBA Title in a row; for that to happen, Golden State players need an emotional and mental and physical reset because, once again, they are clearly exhausted emotionally, mentally, physically.
Fuck the Golden State "fans" who exited the game before the clock went down to 0.00. You all should be banned for life from all Golden State games. You're disgraceful and pure trash. Potentially the last game at the Oracle after YOUR DYNASTY brought you THREE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FOUR YEARS, battering themselves to death in the process, and you leave with 2 minutes left? Not even a single cheer, clap, whistle or shout? One of the greatest fan let downs in sports history. Fuck those worthless trash fans.

Does VanVleet feel more Canadian now that he's chipped a tooth? "No, I don't. If that's what being a Canadian means I'm not sure I want it. I don't play hockey. I got a lot of respect for those guys and what they do, but losing a tooth is not fun."

That was as quiet as the Warriors locker room has been all year. And that’s as fast as the team has showered, dressed and left all year. They look and sound emotionally and physically exhausted.
