Imagine being so far up your own ass that you’re upset that your people aren’t centered in a religious celebration that predates the existence of your people by thousands of years. Imagine not even asking yourself if, perhaps, the fact that these people remember their own bondage had something to do with the decades-long support they have lent your community. The narcissism is suffocating.
