The Lakers are an incredibly boring and sloppy team for a title contender. Their two superstars, who are supposed to make the team fun to watch, don’t play many minutes, Lebron plays the lowest minutes of his career and Anthony Davis is constantly injured. I'd rather watch the Clippers, the Celtics, Heat or pretty much any other team rather than a Lakers game. The most excitement you could get from this team during the regular season is seeing JaVale taunt another player and then get ejected or get dunked on by said player. They don't even have any narrative going on, just a plain boring ass team.

After Losing to the Bucks on the road, the Philadelphia 76ers now have a home record of 22-2 and a road record of 9-19.

I’m glad Houston won last night for multiple reasons, but my favourite is seeing all the people who usually complain about every team playing the same way are now complaining about the Rockets literally unprecedented style.

Where were you when the Rockets eliminated the Center position for future generations of basketball? February 6, 2020 is the day the Rockets showed the Basketball world you don’t need a Center to compete. Harden, PJ Tucker, Westbrook, Convington, it doesn’t matter... they’re all doing fine at the center position guarding Anthony Davis who’s a top 5 player. It could certainly work even better with a non elite Center. And don’t have to worry about clogging up the pace or passing to a guy that can only catch lobs... all of them are agile enough to shoot and create offense. Once again heading towards a position-less basketball. Morey is a genius and comes from the future. I feel like I’m watching myteam with this extreme 5-out

The Wizards are two games in the loss column away from the 8 Seed

Throwback when Livingston crossed Harden so hard you can see the confusion in his eyes.

Yep agreed: This idea that Wiggins goes to GSW and become Iguodala because Iguodala was another guy who can't shoot before joining the GSW. Iggy is a genius, he see stuff on the floor only 7 guys in NBA can see. Wiggins is not a genius, he just not very good.

Teams shouldn't double Harden or Westbrook, defend them 1-on-1 and let them get their 35 each. That's only 70.

Steve Kerr on D’Angelo Russell: “To be blunt, the fit was questionable when we signed him (from a positional standpoint).”

Adam Mokoka from the Chicago Bulls has scored the fastest 15+ points in a game in the shot clock era (since 1954-55) just in 158 seconds.

Warriors are signing guard Jeremy Pargo of G-League affiliate Santa Cruz to a 10-day deal, league source tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. This is like a season-long training camp x make-a-wish program to let random people play for an GSW. Warriors need to pull deep into G league teams to get the guys like Heat, Spurs and Raptors been getting.

D'Angelo Russell has had one of the craziest starts to his career of anyone I can remember. He entered the league and was a rookie on the Kobe retirement tour, he had a subpar second year and got washed out of LA after only two seasons with a pretty big weird scandal (nick young video). Then went to brooklyn had his career resurrected. Then he developed into an eastern conference all star. Then he was traded for KD, played pretty well as the best player in GS, then traded to the Timberwolves at the trade deadline. Now he is 23 and on his 4th team, he was a top 5 pick, then a bust and then an all star. I can't wait to see where he goes over the next 10 years as he enters his prime. Dude's lived a 15 year career in like 4 years. Very well traveled.
