Mike D'Antoni is a great coach, a master mind coach who exploited the rule book and technical play schematics to the extreme edge

The only team that can play under his system are the Golden State Warriors (and his game vision was specifically designed to be an inverse of the Warriors in order to beat the Warriors). There are individual players in the league who are able to adapt and play that extreme edgy far leftist progressive technical strategy/construction/maneuvers, but not entire teams as a whole, except for the Golden State Warriors. Their style of play is novel, highly innovative, game-changing, extremely edgy, and when they lose, they lose worse than any team in the league. Golden State put up 10/10 defense on Harden and Paul and Capela all game long (Harden still had 35 points), the referees slapped a lot of fouls on Houston to drag them from the extreme "that's not how you play basketball" edge back into the "follow the rulebook" style of playing, and the Houston players and coach revolted. If they want any chance to advance to the next round, they have to find a balance between playing the extreme edge and playing standard basketball, and finding a way to alleviate their explosive anger.
