CNN has obtained the video statement former Uvalde school police chief Pete Arredondo gave investigators day after the massacre: ‘There's probably going to be some deceased in there, but we don't need any more from out here' [cnn]

What an epic fail. I cannot even listen to all his rambling or taking phone calls in an interview. Repulsive.

Uvalde school police chief Pete Arredondo was reportedly the one who ordered officers to not enter the classrooms.

Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin has since reaffirmed his support for Arredondo and says residents "will come to terms with" Arredondo's decision

I don’t know what justice even looks like for those kids or their families now. This has sank so low that there’s no fathomable path to even a scratch in the surface of the debt they are owed. That town is truly more bizarre than any fiction I can think of.

Each new details makes it worse. These kids were left to die. The terrorist governor never went to the funerals. And the problem is, all the parents are pro-gun and do not support gun bans and re-voted for these terrorists.

Shimon Prokupecz is doing what he does best: holding powerful people accountable. His reporting out of Uvalde has been incredible.
