The Taliban now controls well over half of Afghanistan's 400-odd districts, controlling 13 provincial capitals less than three weeks before the United States is set to completely withdraw militarily.
This widely shared video shows government forces, including some 15 Humvees and two Navistar 7000 recovery/tanker vehicles, driving east out of the center in Kandahar, Afghanistan's second-largest city after Kabul.
