The typeface has also been used in other publications, including The Atlantic. The Biden campaign's main typeface, Brother 1816, was easily identifiable because of its sharp As, Ms, Ns, and Ws. The typeface can be used playfully, but when displayed in all caps for political messages like "Ban Assault Weapons" and "Impeach Donald Trump," it was loud, pointed, and uncompromising. Brother 1816 was used across the Biden campaign website, digital ads, social graphics, and other assets for the vast majority of the campaign. This helped establish it as the campaign's visual look, but because it's such a strong typeface, it sometimes felt like it had just two volumes: shouting when it was in all caps, and using an outdoor voice inside when it wasn't. Republican Senator David Perdue has declined an invitation to participate in another debate with Democrat challenger Jon Ossoff. This debate was proposed for December 6, a month before the two Georgia run-offs that will determine control of the U.S. Senate. Georgia election recount nears finish line with no problems: Several metro Atlanta counties finished or nearly completed their manual vote recounts Sunday and reported no significant problems, despite continued allegations without evidence by Trump and Republicans that the state's count was rigged. Elections officers in Fulton, Georgia's most populous county, finished recounting votes shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday. DeKalb County was almost done. Gwinnett County expected to cross the finish line Monday. Cobb County still needed to recount some votes. Counties in other parts of the state also reported progress. Coastal Chatham County had counted all but a few absentee ballots, all but one precinct of Election Day ballots, and had started counting early voting ballots by early Sunday, the Savannah Morning News reported. Elections officials in Georgia and across the nation have said there are no indications of widespread voter fraud. But Trump and Republicans have refused to concede to Biden in Georgia or elsewhere, alleging widespread fraud without proof as Republicans challenge vote counts in some states.
